Mediation helps people involved in arguments or disputes resolve their differences.
Mediators do not take sides or tell people what to do. They help people to come
to their own agreements about problems.
The Service was established by trust deed dated 18th January 1984. It became operational
on the 2nd January 1985 to help separated or divorcing couples to reach agreement
on problems arising from the breakdown of their relationship.
Since its conception the Service has responded to the ever-changing social scene
and the increasing realisation of the role that mediation can play in conflict resolution.
Mediation Salisbury and District has developed its work to offer skilled intervention
in many areas of dispute.
We are a registered charity. We are an independent, impartial, and not-for-profit
